Zwischen den Linden (work in progress)
Rousseau already argued that technical and social progress alienates people from their original nature. This project takes a look at the urban green environments Großer Tiergarten in Berlin and its detachment from modern life. As a symbolic retreat in the middle of civilization, the Tiergarten is not only a staged natural space, but also a place that embodies the idea of a communal and egalitarian approach to nature.
