Seized by the feeling of a change approaching, I began to explore my own origins, which led me to the streets of Wuppertal. It resulted in an ode to my origins, which is more than an ornament and asks and answers many questions. "How did my environment influence my character development? What role does the individual play in an urban society? How do life and work relate to each other? What happens to individual dreams and desires?"
